Sachin Tripathi

I build backend systems in Java — REST APIs with Spring Boot and Spring Security, data layers on Spring Data JPA and MySQL, Redis caching, and containerised deployments on AWS. Currently an AI Java Intern at Growth99, working on authentication and AWS-backed services.

Current Skill Focus

Spring Boot Backend Development

Profile Summary

Backend engineering, from API design to production deployment.

Who I Am

A 2026 Computer Science graduate and Java backend engineer, currently interning at Growth99 on authentication and AWS-backed services.

What I Build

Secured REST APIs with Spring Boot and Spring Security, relational data models on JPA and MySQL, Redis caching layers, and Docker images that run on AWS.

What Drives Me

Systems that stay correct under load. I care about clean layering, meaningful tests, and being able to explain every dependency I pull in.

Experience & Education

Where I work and where I studied.

Jun 2026 – Present

AI Java Intern — Growth99

Remote · Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

  • Building passwordless magic-link authentication using Java 17, Spring Boot and Spring Security.
  • Working across AWS services including Cognito, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch and SQS/SNS.
  • Contributing to REST API development and debugging within an agile delivery team.
2026

B.Tech, Computer Science & Engineering

BBDNIIT, Lucknow · CGPA 7.7 / 10

  • Coursework across data structures, algorithms, DBMS, operating systems and computer networks.
  • IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) Coordinator, leading student technical initiatives.
  • Published research in JETIR and placed 2nd Runner-Up at the Rajasthan Police Hackathon 1.0.

Projects

Backend systems I have designed, built, and deployed.

Project 01

Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, MySQL, Redis, Docker, AWS EC2

NexCart — E-Commerce Backend

  • Production-grade e-commerce REST backend with JWT authentication and role-based access control.
  • Redis caching layer on read-heavy catalog endpoints, cutting database load by roughly 40%.
  • Containerised with Docker and deployed to AWS EC2, covered by JUnit 5 and Mockito unit and integration tests.

Project 02

Java, Spring Boot, Redis, Docker, AWS Bedrock

LLM Gateway — Multi-Provider AI Proxy

  • One unified API in front of multiple LLM providers, with automatic failover when a provider errors or times out.
  • Per-tenant rate limiting, response caching, and usage and cost tracking on every request.
  • Routing and fallback logic built against a mock provider first, so the failure paths are testable without spending on API calls.

Project 03

Java 21, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker Compose, Testcontainers

URL Shortener & Click Analytics

  • Short-code generation with custom aliases and expiry, made concurrency-safe by database constraints and indexes rather than application-level locking.
  • Redis-cached redirects plus click analytics, rate limiting, centralised exception handling, health checks and metrics.
  • A clean modular monolith that runs end to end locally through Docker Compose, with integration tests on Testcontainers and an OpenAPI/Swagger contract.

Project 04

Java, Spring Boot, LangChain4j, vector store

AI Chatbot POC — LangChain4j + RAG

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation chatbot that answers from embedded documents instead of relying on the model’s own memory.
  • Built around per-customer data isolation, so one tenant’s documents can never enter another tenant’s retrieval context.
  • Validated the retrieval and isolation design on a simple in-memory vector store before committing to a hosted one.

Achievements

Highlights that show learning, performance, and growth.

2nd Runner-Up

Rajasthan Police Hackathon 1.0

Team TechDeve secured 2nd Runner-Up solving the Dark Web Monitoring problem statement. Teammates: Anshuman Gupta, Aditya Singh, and Rahul Dubey.

LeetCode

Problem Solving

Solved 160+ LeetCode problems across arrays, trees, graphs, and DP. Practising two pointers, sliding window, and HashMap-based approaches to sharpen algorithmic thinking and coding speed.
